Sprinkle powder over your pooch's food daily. Standard Dachshund - 1 level scoop, Miniature Dachshund - 1/2 level scoop per day. 

For puppies aged 8 to 26 weeks, administer half of the recommended dosage. One jar contains 150g (approx. 30 scoops)

Intervertebral disc disease (IVDD) is a common source of back pain in dogs, especially in older dogs but also in younger dogs of predisposed breeds. OFA reports that over 65% of Dachshunds have IVDD. Dachshunds relative risk of IVDD is 10-12 times higher than other breeds and obesity is one of the main risk factors.

Obesity

Dachshunds have an increased risk of obesity. Excess weight can put stress on their spines, which is a risk factor for IVDD.

If your dog is a crossbreed, carrying the genetic material of two or more breeds, we recommend selecting vitamins tailored for one of the predominant breeds in your dog’s mix, or the breed that your dog most physically and behaviorally resembles.
